I needed to read this to realize the importance of what I have and to appreciate it all. You see, I work for a retail chain wherein over the last few months, on the one hand the workforce has been halved and on the other about 0.5% got promoted and about 1.5% got an upward revision of their remunerations (which got doled out by the name of "market correction"). And I was in a state of depression. (I was neither promoted nor did I receive a"market correction") . And then one day I chanced up on this article of yours - And now, thanks to you, my perception has under gone a complete change. I really appreciate the worth of having a job in the present times.
