This is why we do what we do

I received a touching story from a reader yesterday. It really feels good to know our products can make a difference in people’s lives. Thank you Sharon, and good luck.

I just wanted to share a story with you. Last year my ex daughter-in-law sent me a link to the Dash movie and it influenced my life.  I can say influenced because I’ve always acted in similar ways however, it was GREAT to see that someone else is out there. I actually changed my middle name to Dash so I could consciously remember the powerful story. So since then , I get the simple truths newsletter and read it religiously. I also send the Dash link to my friends and hope it will influence them. OK, enough, now for the story.

In June, I was told I needed open heart surgery to repair a defective valve. Being a very active positive 60, I accepted the decision- of course I got second opinions- and found a group of doctors who were positive and fit my role of a great team. Your newsletters always talk about commitment, so I started meditating and working with acupuncturists so that my body and spirit would understand what was going to happen, and be receptive to the tremendous operation and the healing that would occur once it was over. I researched everything and was ready both mentally and physically. I also asked the doctor to read a healing statement in my ear immediately after the operation saying that my operation was a success and my healing would be rapid, with minimal pain and discomfort.

Well the operation was last Thursday. I found I could not take any pain medication as it made me sick, and I could only handle Tylenol every 6 hours. Not surprisingly, I experienced very little pain and came home yesterday, a day earlier than even the doctors planned.

I attribute my success to many of the tools you make available to everyone for free and I want to thank you personally for doing this. I have no doubt my healing will be rapid. I will also get a third job in addition to the second one of exercising as your newsletter advised today. I want this third job to be making more people aware of the endless possibilities of a positive mind set.

THANK YOU so much for all your good inspirational information and the sharing that you do with others.

Joe,

Great story!

All the best in your recovery! Feel free to buzz me if you need any inspiration during your recovery. I’m 21 months post-op (double valve replacement) and doing great. Just got married and surfing again!

Plus, I started a blog and wrote a book about heart valve surgery to help future patients!

Be well,

Adam
