Zig Ziglar: Setting Goals

by Matt on June 26, 2009

In the most recent post, I started by saying 14 million Americans are in sales as a profession, and the rest of us do it as a part time job.  Well, today I would like to again present a "sales" speech to the 290 million Americans not in sales for a living.  In this video, Zig will tell you some crucial ideas about setting goals… something that we all can use.

I truly LOVE this speech.  Zig Ziglar has influenced how I view the world, and it is an honor to share this video with you.  It was also an honor for Simple Truths to publish his book, Inspiration 365 Days a Year.  So, get ready to charge up your energy reserves with a few words from Zig Ziglar!

Zig’s video is great. Wow! That info about Japan is really an eye opener. I’m getting out my pencil and paper.

Thanks for sharing this inspirational stuff. I’m writing a blog entry on “humanism” and how we as a people can change. I plan to use the same video clip. I will say there are some amazing things about the way Japan used their tiny country and there minimal resources to create a nation. It says something about the nature of goals.
